BODY, MIND, SPIRIT JUNE 22, 2011
Ok, let’s get this out, all the blogs out there talk of either just the body or the mind or the spirit. Some do talk briefly about all or not at all, veering here and or there constantly switching gears from one or the other getting us all lost in their own way of thinking and are they really giving us any meat to really chew on? Wow that was a long sentence…
Here’s the deal folks, this is going to be one of those blogs. But with a bit of a twist, I am committing to making a total change in Body, Mind and Spirit. I am going to dedicate the next 180 days to total Body, Mind and Spirit transformation.
In doing this I am going to tackle all three concepts, explore my Body, my Mind and my Spirit. Logging daily the changes, feelings, thoughts and outcomes of the days events. I will break down barriers, charge head first into unknown territory of the three categories and hopefully come out better than I am today. LOL.
How am I going to do this in 180 days? This is how: I am going to pose questions to you my readers, take your suggestions, have you make comments on my progress and be my judges on how well I have done in the end, we may see eye to eye, we may even have our arguments, all I ask is that you stay with me during this, YOU can come and go as you please, I don’t mind cause I am doing this for me. I may present different articles from different views, and it could range from the main stream to the abnormal and even could get into the weird (all in the eyes of the beholder I say) and it is all a matter of opinion.
Interesting enough at the end of the 180 days will be my 46th birthday. Now that sounds a bit self centered, but I did that on purpose, because on that day I will be able give myself the best birthday present, a Healthier Body, a more Powerful Mind, and Stronger Spirit.
Here’s how it will work:
I am breaking down the three categories into sections and will talk about each section in each daily blog depending on what is planned for that day. You, my readers, are going to also help me pick the sections. If there is something that I have missed or placed under a category you think should be different, you fill in the blanks or suggest a change. Please remember that if you suggest a change be prepared to state you case as to why you think it needs to be under a different category. One thing I ask though: If I do not make the suggested change I too will rebuttal with why I think it should stay under that category and don’t get annoyed or offended if I don’t make the change. Sounds fair enough? I think so.
So here are the categories and the sections:
